Air Conditioning for Every Room

Multi-split systems connect two to five indoor units to a single outdoor unit. Single split systems cover individual rooms, a light commercial range serves shops, offices and classrooms, and VRF handles whole buildings.

Shared features

What every system shares

  • Wide operating window

Cooling from −15 °C to 52 °C and heating from −22 °C to 24 °C outside, so the same system heats in winter and cools in summer.

  • Intelligent defrost

Defrost runs only when the coil needs it rather than on a fixed cycle, improving efficiency by around 5% and heating efficiency by up to 20% at low outdoor temperatures.

  • All‑DC inverter platform

DC inverter compressors and fan motors with advanced control logic, and a protective multi-layer coating on the outdoor casing.

  • Independently rated

C‑Series indoor units are tested to EN 14825:2018, with A++ / A+ energy classes across the CA and CC ranges.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to help you choose between the AUX air conditioning ranges.

Choosing a system

What is the difference between single split, multi split and VRF?

A single split pairs one indoor unit with its own outdoor unit, for one room. A multi split connects two to five indoor units to one outdoor unit. VRF serves many indoor units from one outdoor unit, or a bank of modular outdoor units, on a single refrigerant circuit, with every room controlled on its own. Light commercial systems pair one larger indoor unit with an outdoor unit for shops, offices and classrooms.

Which AUX air conditioning system do I need?

Start with the size of the job: one room (single split), several rooms (multi split), one large space (light commercial) or a whole building (VRF). Where no installation is possible, portable air conditioners just plug in. Send us the room list and loads and our technical team will size the system.

Can AUX air conditioning heat as well as cool?

Yes. The same system heats in winter and cools in summer: cooling works from −15 °C to 52 °C outside and heating from −22 °C to 24 °C. Defrost runs only when the coil needs it, which improves heating efficiency at low outdoor temperatures.

Refrigerant and warranty

Which refrigerant does AUX air conditioning use?

The split range – single split, multi split and light commercial – uses R32. Portable air conditioners and dehumidifiers use the natural refrigerant R290. Mini VRF comes in R410A and R32 versions.

Who should install and service my air conditioning?

A qualified, certified professional, who commissions the system and signs a commissioning record. After that, air conditioning is serviced every year by an F‑Gas certified engineer.

Do AUX air conditioners have a warranty?

Yes. AUX air conditioners supplied by AUX UK and installed in UK homes have a 10‑year product warranty from the date of commissioning. To keep the full term, register the system within 90 days of commissioning and have it serviced every year by an F‑Gas certified engineer. The steps are on the warranty page.

Not sure which system you need?

Send us the room list and loads and our technical team will size the system and confirm the indoor unit combination.
